New York City, July 24, 2025 — Sports broadcaster Taylor Rooks recently got married in a private ceremony held in New York City, attended by several high-profile names from the sports and entertainment world.
Photos from the event were posted by Rooks on her Instagram account on Wednesday. The images showed a number of well-known guests, including rapper Jack Harlow, NFL star Saquon Barkley and NBA players Kevin Durant and Draymond Green.

Rooks did not share many details about the wedding or her husband. In one of the photos, a printed menu revealed the name “Shane,” which appears to be the first name of her husband. His full identity has not been confirmed, and Rooks has not tagged or named him in her posts.
The guest list also included Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, Cleveland Cavaliers player Donovan Mitchell**, his fiancée Coco Jones, and sports broadcaster Joy Taylor, who appeared to be one of the bridesmaids. Joy Taylor shared Rooks’ post on her own Instagram Story, writing:
“So happy for my girl. Love you sis!”
Another photo from the reception showed Kevin Durant smiling while seated at a table with other guests. The event appeared to be private and attended by close friends and colleagues.
New Role for Taylor Rooks at Prime Video
The wedding comes as Rooks prepares for a new role in her career. She is set to host Prime Video’s new NBA studio show starting this fall, alongside Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki. The show is part of Prime Video’s upcoming NBA coverage beginning in the 2025–26 season.
Earlier this year, Rooks announced her departure from TNT and Bleacher Report, where she previously worked as a reporter and host. In a January statement, she said she is excited to help build the new NBA show at Prime Video and connect with fans in a new way.
