Even if summer in New York City still feels like a sweaty subway ride, fall is already knocking — and this year, Pumpkin Spice Latte Starbucks Season kicks off earlier than last year.
Starbucks has officially confirmed that the Pumpkin Spice Latte — affectionately known as the PSL — returns to its stores nationwide on Monday, August 26, 2025.
Pumpkin Spice Latte Starbucks Season
It’s a few days later than last year’s launch, but still one of the earliest public announcements Starbucks has ever made about the fan-favorite drink. Searches for “pumpkin spice” started trending in mid-June this year, weeks earlier than usual. And with demand already heating up, it’s clear the PSL hype is alive and well in 2025.
Alongside the return of the PSL, a few other fall drinks will be back on the menu, including:
Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai
Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte
There’s also a new drink this year called the Pecan Cortado, and a new food item: Italian Sausage Egg Bites.

These are available for a limited time at most major retailers, including Target, Whole Foods and many NYC supermarkets.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte originally launched in 2003 and has stayed one of Starbucks’ most popular seasonal drinks. This year marks its 22nd return.
